Solanart is currently the leading NFT marketplace on Solana, hosting major NFT projects such as Degen Ape Academy and Sol Punks. The platform is currently in beta which means that you cannot directly mint on it. Instead, creators fill out a Google form which can be obtained via the Discord server, and once the NFTs are listed for sale, they are stored on a ‘Temporary Account’ owned by the marketplace program. When someone buys your NFT, the program transfers the SOL amount from the buyer to the seller, and unlocks the NFT which is then sent to the buyer. Learn more about NFT Creation Agency
Digitaleyes.market is an open NFT marketplace on Solana, and so far they have had quite a strong and steady head start since the launch of the platform in September 2021. Anyone can mint their NFT creations on the platform, but the team tries to check as many NFT projects as possible to give them a “verifeyed” badge and delete fake NFTs. Take note that Digitaleyes is still in its alpha launch phase, and sometimes listed NFTs may take longer to reflect.
Solsea is an open NFT marketplace and also the first NFT marketplace that enables creators to choose and embed licenses when they mint NFTs. Unlike Solanart, creators can directly upload their artworks and mint them. Although the website has had some issues with bugs and fake NFTs, they are overall working hard on stepping up their game. The platform supports Phantom, Solflare, and Sollet crypto wallets. There is also a useful FAQ section on how to create an NFT and navigate any issues.
